Personal Statement
My photography is my mind’s reflection of what I see. It skims the edge of reality and perception of the real and the imagined.
My photographs are all spontaneous and I do not specialise in any subject or genre.
I process what I see in my mind and look to see whether I can represent it photographically. I look for things rather than at things and seek to evidence these in my photographs.
There is nothing of chance in my photography other than having encountered a situation. I process my visualisation in my mind to see if I can make aesthetic sense of it. If I can, I choose my approach and press the shutter button, once only, and then leave.
